Comfort Measures Class to Ease and Progress Labour
Included with your pregnancy exercise classes as part of the complete Blossom Fitness Program
This two hour class is taught by experienced Doulas from Babeeze In Arms. The Doulas are certified Lamaze instructors and birth educators. Your husband / partner will join you for this special, hands-on class. Together you will learn gentle, yet effective techniques to ease and progress labour. These techniques can be helpful for both women who DO and DO NOT have an epidural.
You will discover:
- The benefits of optimal fetal positioning
- The Role of pain in labour
- 5 ways to make labour easier
You will practice:
- Comfort measures that ease the pain of labour & provide a safe passage for your baby
- You will experience the rhythm, relaxation and ritual of labour
You will gain the knowledge needed to feel empowered for this amazing journey into birth!

* If you are earlier in your pregnancy and plan to come back for another session of fitness classes, you may want to wait, and attend a Comfort Measures Class that is closer to your due date so the information will be fresh in your mind.
Please bring:
- Your husband/partner OR the person who will be with you during your labour and delivery
- A large bath towel
